I've got in the neighborhood of $13,000 in the game.  That enough skin for you?

Forget skin.  I think you have an arm & leg in the game.

We were on a 10 cruise on the Reflection.   It was canceled and ordered back to the port.   The 10 day cruise ended after 4 days.   We got 50% credit towards another cruise and our cruise fare fully refunded except for some fees.

We used some of the refunded amount and bought 100 shares of RCCL stock.  It was fun money to begin with and won’t break us if we lost that money as it was basically already spent on that cruise.  We still got 4 days of cruising plus the 50% FCC, and money left from the refund after the stock purchase so we almost got the stock as a bonus for free.

X could go bankrupt but I have faith that they won’t and things will get back to as it was.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I appreciate everyone's take. The more I'm on this forum the more I realize how many people love to hate Celebrity, and hate to love X at the same time. Been that way before the pandemic, guess it won't change anytime soon.

I just saw some pictures from a casino that is getting ready to re-open and there were plexiglass shields everywhere on the tables and between players.  There was a slot at the bottom to reach your chips.  There was also a suggestion that Blackjack hands would all be dealt face up so players would not touch the cards.  I wonder if the cruise ships will also adopt this approach.  It really didn't look like much fun to me.

All the warmth of video blackjack.

Well said!

Coping with the present also reveals people who always have a cup half full and those whose cup is half empty...

Hmmm...  I just thought the cup was poorly designed.

So why not just stay home, make some drinks, and use an online casino?  No plexiglass.😀
