Germany, Norway and Sweden in late September?

Has anyone sailed from Copenhagen to Southampton in late September?  Ports are Warnermunde Germany, Gothenburg Sweden, Oslo Norway, Newhaven Scotland, Amsterdam Netherlands, Zeebrugge Belguim and LeHavre France.  I am only booking this as the last three ports are ones we were scheduled to be on right now before it got canceled.  My question is about the first 3 ports.  Any suggestions?  Is there any possibllity that we won't be able to get there because of the weather.

 

We are trying to hit most of the ports we missed when our May 1 Jade trip from Rome to Amsterdam was canceled.  We are booking Southampton to Rome after the first cruise I mentioned as a b2b changing from the Star to the Jade on the same day in Southampton.  The second cruise hits most of the ports we are missing.

 

Any help you can give about the first 3 ports would be appreciated.  I have read what little there is on the ports of call boards.

Our Trip was a little different than what you are looking at - but may help w/ a few of the same ports...

The cruise before ours had more of the ports you are looking at, plus went to St. Petersburg & Tallinn.

We did a Transatlantic on the Getaway - Copenhagen to New Orleans - October 2019

Prior to heading across the Atlantic - we enjoyed our visits to:

Copenhagen, Denmark

Rotterdam, Netherlands

Southampton, England

Le Havre, France

Portland, England

Cork (Cobh), Ireland

 

Due to Wind & Weather – we missed Ponta Delgada, Azores

We were in Oslo late September 2015.  We needed light jackets.  The ice bars were mostly closed. The sail in and docking are fantastic.

Warnemünde is the only port where it could be possible that you can`t dock due to heavy winds.

Depending on the size of the ship you might dock in Rostock(which is approx. 5 Kms away)

If you dock in Warnemünde directly you can visit the village(rather small, but really nice village) or go to Rostock(very nice and beautiful city, many historic buildings and places).Train station is almost directly oposite the berth. Trains are running every 7-10 minutes. If you have a lot of time you can also go to Hamburg, Schwerin or Lübeck. All three are fascinating old and beautiful cities.You will need approx. 1,5 to 2 hours one way to get to these cities.

 

In Oslo you can do the city on your own very easily.Ship is docked almost in the city.There is lot to see, and yes the sail in to Oslo is very nice.

 

Haven`t been to Gothenburg yet(at least not by cruise ship)
