Expedition Itinerary Release/Extension (2022)

Currently, the Expedition fleet's schedule ends with the following voyages:

• Silver Origin; Sep 25, 2021
• Silver Cloud; Feb 24, 2022
• Silver Wind; Mar 2, 2022
• Silver Explorer; Mar 17, 2022

 

According to Conrad Combrink, SS plans to release and extend the schedule in either September or October this year.

Thanks Brian, hope to Book the NWP on either the Wind or Cloud in 2022/2023.  Expect we will have.a Covid vax/therapeutic solution by then tool

Barbara Muckermann announced on Facebook five weeks ago, or so, that the schedule extensions would be released after the U.S. presidential election.  Today, I have heard they will be released on December 1st.  I do not know whether it will be a release to the general public, or the more traditional release to Venetian Society members for an exclusive 2-week period.

I was speaking to SS a couple of weeks ago and was told the plan was to release the next schedules in November.

Split the difference ....
Perhaps a VS release in mid November and a general release in December?

Thanks for posting but we are booked on the Cloud in June of 2022. So maybe what  you posted goes a little further out.

My update is referring to the extension through the balance of 2022. Sorry for the confusion.

I just put this update in this existing thread that will go through the balance of 2022 rather than starting a new thread complete since I knew Col. Wes was looking forward to seeing the schedule extension for the 2022 NWP.  Sorry for any confusion.

I must have missed that little birdie.

 

Unless it crashed into our window and was too dazed to deliver the message, as it seems that our local birds are wont to do.

 

 

Like this poor woodpecker that tried flying through our window on Sunday. It was only dazed, but it sat there on our deck for a while without moving. Long enough for some cellphone pic.

 

When I checked back in a half hour later, it had flown off. I guess if you have to bet on any bird to survive a head-on blow with a window, a woodpecker is a good bet. They make a living on banging their heads against immovable objects.

 

Anyway. Looking forward to the new releases.

Sounds like what Silversea has been doing over the last six months.

 

It will interesting to see how they change their pricing structure and port stops to make up lost revenue?
