visa points credited back to card

Perhaps this has been addressed before. Just wondering if redeemed VISA points will be credited back to my Bank of America card account since my cruise has been cancelled?

I redeemed 50,000 points for a $500 OBC and haven't seen any resolution to this. I tried RCCL twice and got no suitable answer and Bank of America said it is up to RCCL to resolve.

Has anyone run into this issue before and how was it resolved?

I have only heard of them transferring the OBC to a different booking .  The number for that department at Royal is 888-305-4626
