gerryuk Posted June 1, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2020 So your cruise was cancelled by the cruise line, the cruise line is doing everything possible to get you to accept vouchers, not cash refunds. If you accept the voucher and book another cruise and the cruise line then cancels that cruise, is it true that you cannot then get a cash refund and you are only entitled to another voucher? Is this industry standard or individual cruise line policy, or did I hear this wrong and you will be able to get a cash refund? Thanks.
Rare ColeThornton Posted June 1, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2020 Individual cruise line policy. I would ask this on the forum of the cruise line you are dealing with.
Flatbush Flyer Posted June 1, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2020 You can ask every cruise line. But, I'm betting all the answers will be somewhat the same along the lines of: "If we cancel your cruise, applied FCCs will be redeposited to your account with appropriate adjustments to book by/sail by deadlines." I know DCL, if they cancel your cruise, you can get a future cruise credit of 125%. If that future cruise is then canceled, you can opt to move the amount (the amount of 125% of original cruise price) to another cruise or get a full refund of 100% of the original cruise price. AF-1 Posted June 2, 2020 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2020 I have FCC with Princess. If I don't use it within two years; they will refund to my credit card.
