HAL still trying to raise cash by offering OBC for early payments on booked cruises

Last month I put down the minimum on a 10-day cruise in March using a ridiculously low promo code UYC. Then I got the OPC/early pay offer and decided to take advantage of the 10% discount for full payment. Turns out my crazy low fare for SA suite was flagged as casino rate and the OBC offer doesn't apply. Funny thing is we've NEVER gone to the casino on the two HAL cruises we've taken. I suspect the res person messed up on the price she quoted and could only get it approved with the casino rate flag.

I don't know how much OBC you are losing, but considering your "ridiculously low promo" rate and the additional 10% discount for early payment, I would not waste my efforts trying to get the OBC.  Enjoy your suite!
