Projunior Posted July 2, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2020 Cancelled our April 4 Royal Princess sailing on March 19. Chose the 175% FCC and that showed up way back on April 23. In addition, I had purchased two $1000 gift cards in February when Princess was running a special -- purchase a $1000 gift card and get an extra $50 gift card. With the cards I purchased $2000 in casino credits. I called Princess and asked how the cancellation would affect the cards. I was told the cards would be reloaded at some point in the future. That finally happened today. 1 1

Don't know about theirs but I finally got my five $50 cards restored. Princess issued me a new $250 e-card that doesn't show an expiration date.

Does that mean it has no expiration date like regular gift card? Edited July 4, 2020 by Wolf1314

Since they don't know when/if cruising will resume it's only "fair" that they removed the expiration date restriction.
Rare Cruise Raider Posted July 4, 2020 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) I called, per Thrak's recommendation and she noted that if the cruise on which the bonus card was canceled, call to request it be restored with an extended expiration date . Now, I did have a sailing that was ultimately canceled but, I saw the writing on the wall and asked my PVP to move it to a different sailing prior to the cancelation. She did that ... I assume that this next one (or two) that I have booked are also going to be canceled, thus, I am just going to wait and ask for the extended expiration at that time. However, if the cruise lines are not yet sailing and the final payment is due for these future cruises. I'm just going to cancel them and move that bonus card to a 2022 sailing. This waiting game is just too painful! Edited July 4, 2020 by Cruise Raider

I just called Princess and they confirmed my new gift card has no expiration date.
