RC Gold Member benefits

Recommended Posts

April will be my 8 th cruise on RC. I have never taken advantage of any of the perks including exclusive check in because I have been with others who were first time cruiser.
I want to try some this next cruise.
Where do I go for the members greeting breakfast?

i am going with another first time cruiser( maybe it’s me, my friends never want to go again). Can we both go through the priority line since the room is booked in my name?

What other perks are available worth doing for the Gold Member that I should do?

Here is the link to your Gold benefits.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "members greeting breakfast". On the final morning, you are permitted to wait in a designated lounge which will probably have coffee, tea, juices, and perhaps some pastries. This is considered a continental breakfast on departure morning and it is not anything super special, in my opinion.

There should be a list of benefits waiting in your cabin when you arrive; more perks will be explained at that time which are not listed on the website.

How many Crown and Anchor points do you have? Are you sure you aren't higher than Gold? I think with seven cruises done, you may be further along than you realize?

Yes, roomates can go through the Gold line (or whichever you qualify for), with you.

I agree, if you have sailed 7 cruises, unless they were 3 - 4 night ones, you should be Platinum (30 cruise nights).

Yep first figure out how many points you have. After 7 cruises, you can be more than Gold, which everyone can be after ONE cruise.

Make sure you look at the lines before just heading to the priority line. I have seen, on multiple occasions, where the priority line is longer than the "regular" line. For whatever reason, some people choose to wait in a longer line because they are entitled to.

At Baltimore, they take more people from the priority lines that the general line as agents open up.

So even though it is longer, the priority line may move faster.
