It would help to know what your cruise itinerary is, such as "Homelands" or "Mediterranean Odyssey".  If you have a common cruise that runs a lot, there are many people who can give some guidance on what excursions they've had in the past.  Viking is always working on tweaking the excursions (providers, itineraries) which is why the actual one you might have is not solidified until closer to sailing.

That being said, depending on what your cruise is, you may very likely not be going in January, given the World COVID-19 situation.   Being British and not American, you may have some better luck though.

Great suggestion in previous reply. In addition, on the Viking website, in the cruise "Itinerary" tab you will see on the far right for each port listed, a "Read More" link.

This gives an idea of some of the tours that could be available, before the full list is published. For our last cruise, most of the listed tours were available, but some ports had a number of additional tours on the final list.

thanks tried that

just tells me will be available on September 15th

You are looking at myvikingjourney.com, the guest portal used to view our individual bookings. It is different from the Viking Cruises website, which is where you will find the generic list of shorex offered on your itinerary. This is all that is available until the shorex are loaded into MyVikingJourney in September.

Click here to see the page in the image:

This is what it will look like when you get there and have scrolled down:

Once on the actually website (as this is an image and does not contain links) click where it says READ MORE, circled in yellow, to see more detailed information for each day of your itinerary. If this isn't your itinerary, once on the website, click where it says CRUISES to find it. If Viking directs you to the UK site, don't worry, you will still find the same information. Also note that the this information does not including pricing as it may differ from sailing to sailing.

I am assuming you are on Panama Canal and Central America.  just checked and all the info  that Peregrina mentioned is on that particular page.  Good idea of what they will probably have and others might be added when MVJ opens for your booking.  It should be 10-14 days before the first excursion bookings are started.  Your time will be according to your cabin but you will be able to see them as soon as they are offered.

With regard to the specific question asked, under normal circumstances, yes, you would be able to view the specific excursions offered for your specific cruise, including their specific time schedules and their costs, usually at least a couple weeks before anyone's actual booking window opens. They are usually posted on MVJ at least 120 days before sailing.

That said, these are not normal times.

Thanks! I went to the Viking Sky Roll Call forum and looked at the first January cruise on the list--and completely failed to see the 2022 that was part of the date. That why I posted the Mediterreanean itinerary. Sorry.
