Yes, absolutely you can. I agree that people in higher risk groups should consider holding off on cruising for now. The other side of that coin is that it's often those over 70 who do the most cruising. What to do? 🤷‍♂️

How about we allow people to make their own decisions about what they should do?  This is allegedly a free country, after all.

I wish it were more free. I had to cancel two vacations at the end of this month because even though I am healthy, I'm American and therefore not allowed to travel to Europe at the moment (most of it, anyway).

Unfortunately, 43 passengers of the Hurtigruten ship have tested positive. Norway is closing all ports. The CDC isn't going to like this.  I'm afraid this tentative 'start' may postpone us even longer.

More passengers are being quarantined to their stateroom. This time it's the Seadream. One passenger from the last sailing tested positive upon return to Denmark so now this entire sailing is quarantined. Covid is awful, but more passengers being confined to staterooms is detrimental to the industry from an image standpoint. Every time I read cruise industry news, I swear it feels like a gut-punch.

I share your feeling.  But, Cruise Industry News is an excellent publication and source for good information about cruising.

More sad news today for the USA passengers.

"Outlining Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ roadmap for returning to service, CEO Frank Del Rio said on the company's second quarter earnings call that the earliest he envisions full deployment of the fleet would be in the second quarter of 2021."

If I'm interpreting this correctly, NCL is planning that some ships will remain laid up for the next 8 months. How many is unclear. I also believe that most CEO's paint a rosy picture, so April of 2021 is likely a best case scenario.
