You realize that you just listed a bunch of mosquito borne illnesses + rabies...not contagious

And how soon before one of the returning crew members shows an asymptomatic positive test and has to be replaced, along with any other crew he/she contacted along the way?

 

I would think the cruise lines would build in a wait period as crew return to work so they can be tested negative a few times after their travel back to the ship.

 

It would be a disaster for one of the first sailings after resumption to get quarantined because of a rush to man the ship and get passengers aboard.

Wasn't referencing contagiousness but common illnesses to crew in their home countries, all more deadly than COVID
