john_galt Posted August 17, 2020 #76 Share Posted August 17, 2020 (edited) I couldn't find a webcam for Civitavecchia but the Costa Deliziosa has a bridge cam, pointed towards the Divinia and Grandiosa. Second image is from Costa Diadema aft cam, pointed at the Grandiosa. Edited August 17, 2020 by john_galt

Rare DCGuy64 Posted August 17, 2020 #78 Share Posted August 17, 2020 Cautiously optimistic after several months that the cruising season has resumed and it’s still 2020! Who would have thought?? 😃
mikehoncho Posted August 17, 2020 #79 Share Posted August 17, 2020 I've been following this thread and am hopeful that MSC can pull it off. We are thinking about a cruise from the USA in April 2021. I realize that everything can and likely will change by then, but as of today, I'm worried about the nasal swab. I've had one done and they aren't much fun. We have a 5 year old that will be tough to test. Hoping the saliva test is widespread by then. She has no problem producing plenty of spit! 4

Never thought of one of the other ships. Very smart thinking! So, considering the 6 hours time difference to US Eastern Time Zone, we can look for activity prior to and then the scheduled 3 PM departure.
WorldTraveler151208 Posted August 17, 2020 #82 Share Posted August 17, 2020 Please post some photos from the ship, whatever you have. Let us see what it looks like on board.
WorldTraveler151208 Posted August 17, 2020 #83 Share Posted August 17, 2020 I found such a photo on facebook. This is the front of Msc Divina seen from the deck of Grandiosa. Looks like Divina's crew made a welcome banner. Can anyone read all the inscriptions or has a better picture? I can’t read everything.

I think that would be a 1PM departure Eastern Time Zone if that schedule is correct.

cruisingcanadian Posted August 17, 2020 #92 Share Posted August 17, 2020 I am teary-eyed just watching the Sailaway video. I loved my two cruises on MSC Divina, but I generally loved ALL my cruises on all cruise lines😊. I so wish to be able to cruise soon again (I am in Canada). Good luck to the MSC Grandioza and any other cruise ship brave enough to start sailing soon.

I can imagine that the sailaway today must have been very exciting and emotional too, as there were 4 other ships docked in Civitavecchia, including Divina, another ship from the Msc family. I hope there will be some videos later.
