Good morning fellow posters. You've added lovely Z pictures already and I have a few to contribute but, first, I'd like to reiterate how much I have enjoyed taking part in this thread. I've loved looking at all he fabulous and creative photographs and have noted places that I would like to visit and reminisced when seeing places where we have been. It has also been great searching through our own pictures and challenging Jim to come up with relevant birds. I do hope Damian can can come up with another thread.....

Here are my Zs..

Zebra Dove, USA Hawaii.

My very last Zs are from our overnight stay at a Zulu village in South Africa which we did as part of a pre-cruise tour...

We think we are fairly well travelled. Looking at all these lovely photos tells me there is still so much to see. My bucket list is so long now this virus needs to be under control soon.

Thank you fellow travelers and stay safe.

it’s been a lovely thread

Memories of sights I have seen and beautiful pics of places I haven’t been lucky enough to visit

I even managed a couple of pics myself, though most of my ‘portfolio’ is not accessible when using my iPad to post

Thanks Damian, for the idea, and thanks everyone for your contributions

Z is for:

Zoo...and a short tale to finish.

Our son has an Eastern Bongo soft toy:

So in 2015 we went to Barcelona Zoo to see one but much to our disappointment (especially our son's) it wasn't there:

Zoo (1).JPG

So we made that typical parental promise (the kind that kids don't believe) that we'd come back and see it next year.

We returned in 2016 and our luck was in:

Zoo (2).JPG

Resulting in one happy boy:

I'm not going to post a Z. I have about 650 pictures on my phone and in the cloud. No decent Z there. I have thousands on memory sticks. I know if I start looking through all our memories, knowing we can't go anywhere anytime soon, I'll end up emptying the drinks cabinet and jumping up the roof.🤣

I too have thoroughly enjoyed this thread and all the  different photos. I hope people have looked at my pictures and wondered "I know that, where have I seen it" and bought back fond memories.

Absolutely.

A big thank you for everyone who contributed all the wonderful photos and I'm pleased I was able to contribute too.

I can think of one Z to post.  How about a ZAP😉

Thanks Damian, it's been a great thread, I've seen photos of mine that I haven't seen for years and some truly great photos from the other contributors.

Sincere thanks for all contributions to this thread. I originally stated "no ports" (as I thought we'd covered that) but I'm so glad that it did drift that way as it gave so many of us a further opportunity so show extra photos not posted previously.

I'll start another thread in a few days time. I'm still going to keep you all guessing what it will be, but I will say that much as I've tried to find photos I don't think we've got a full set of "A to Z" for the next cruising theme. However, that's going to be part of the fun seeing how all you clever cruisers get creative.

Thanks again and until next time...

Thank you Damian. I've enjoyed both threads enormously. Even though I haven't posted, they've help keep me upbeat and raring to go when cruising resumes. They've bought back wonderful memories and inspired me to visit different places. I look forward to Damian's Photo Thread 3-4-5------- and so on😁
