I'm not sure about the French Polynesia bit, but not Rangiroa.  To paraphrase Crosby Stills and Nash in "Southern Cross" by the time we hit this port, we had already done the "downhill run to Papeete", and when we left this port, we found that "off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas."

There is an atoll in that area by the name of Fakarava.........

Winner!  A most unusual place, and the entry into the lagoon was a tight squeeze with a heavy race -- the captain did a great job getting us in.  It is a place known for its black pearls, and seems quite prosperous.

Never been there (and would love to), but the name "Sugarloaf Mountain" comes to mind.  Rio de Janiero?  I can't see Cristo Redentor on the far peak, though.

Yes Sir! Winner! 😉 That is in fact P-dam passing Pao de Acugar/Sugarloaf Mountain inbound for Rio. You pass right by their main naval base on the way to the berth.Spent three days there as crew during Carnival. Crazy times! Wonderful city but also with some dangerous areas
