So, you book it based on "surprise" and get surprised?
October17 Posted November 29, 2020 #27 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Looks like it is all sold out, no cabins avilable, but one can sign up for a wait list. it will be interesting tomfollow, and would have been a nice relaxing holiday-cruise. Well, maybe after I retire and have time for longer cruises 🙂
Cruise Wonderland Posted November 29, 2020 #28 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Also the "mystery" cruises are not a new thing in the industry. Saga and Fred. Olsen both had such cruises in the past. https://newsroom.saga.co.uk/news/sagas-secret-cruise But under the current pandemic environment, I'm afraid there would be more challenges to arrange a secret route. BTW, didn´t MSC visit Coco Cay as well in lack of an own private island (Ocean Cay was delayed and they had to add another stop). steamboats

Kbonner Posted December 3, 2020 Author #32 Share Posted December 3, 2020 Cruise was cancelled due to Hamburg port authority which denies departure because of the national Corona pandemic restrictions . All other German port authorities have agreed to Hamburg port authorities decision-so no alternate harbor possible. Guests get exclusive offers for the 3 week Canary Island cruises which take place in December.
Rare steamboats Posted December 3, 2020 #33 Share Posted December 3, 2020 Obviously none of the ports did allow the departure. Neither Kiel nor Hamburg nor Bremerhaven. Hamburg was never set as departure port (but might have been the first choice of TUI Cruises). steamboats
