Nate123 Posted January 3, 2021 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2021 This is a long shot question, but worth asking... During one of my excursions to St. Thomas a long time ago, someone pointed me to a boat charter out of the American Harbor in St. Thomas. He wasn't affiliated with Carnival's excursions and we chartered him ourselves... long and short we had a great time and wanted to use him again if he's still around since we'll be staying in St. Thomas for a week. It was basically him, a crew mate, and his beagle that were on the boat... anyways, curious if someone would remember who and possibly provide a link to their site... Nate123 Posted January 8, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted January 8, 2021 I don't know... I'd love names, even if the person we hired before no longer does it... It was fun.
bettyboop16 Posted January 9, 2021 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2021 I don't know who you speak of, but we were in STT last March for 1 week. We booked with Max Charters. Capt. Hunter, his sister & dog Finn. He had room for 6 passengers (small sailboat) We sailed over to a beach on St. John. We snorkeled & swam....beautiful beach. We were provided with lunch that was very tasty. Sailing back was awesome! I love it! Excursion was 6 hrs. from the American Yacht Club at Red Hook. O2B@Cagain Posted January 10, 2021 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2021 Nate: The day sail business has boomed over the past several years. And currently, because the BVI have been closed, they are really in demand. Do you want a sail or power boat? You can Google "day sail St Thomas" and get an idea of the kinds of boats available. There are small boats like https://crewzenvi.com/, larger ones like https://stormypirates.com. Then there are sail boats like https://www.sailingvirginislands.net/.
