DINING DISASTERS onboard ship...

We did a recent trip on the Clipper Cruise Lines Star Flyer.  The Star Flyer is a full rigged sailboat.  Sailboats heel which is a lot of fun and the greater the wind the more they heel.  Occasionally you get a good puff of wind.  On this day we had a steady good wind so we were cruising along at about a 10 to 15 degree heel and the kitchen was handling it w/o problems.  You all know where this is heading to.  We got a really good puff and based on what 15 degrees felt like we must have gone to 20 to 25 degrees followed by a big crash and a lot of yelling in the kitchen.  It was a hoot.

BTW - l of the sails blew out at that time and the sail master or whatever they call him spent almost a week patching it.  One of the things that he used was the biggest sewing machine I have ever seen.
