Speaks of the why and why nots of the proposed test cruises.   I can summarize in one sentence what it says.  "Yea, we'd all sure like too but the virus is still totally in control."  But interesting anyhow.  My opinion.

The CDC wanted a 6 month extension of the "No Sail Order" back in November but Trump pushed back on them so they came up with the CSO. The CSO is just another name for the No Sail Order, they got what they wanted. I bet the No Sail Order returns soon.

If the CDC has not finished issuing all the guidelines for the CSO they never intended to.

We have been in a cancel and rebook cycle for almost a year now. It is anyone's guess when we will actually sail again. Unfortunately I wonder if there are more political aspects than safety aspects at play. Me, I have my COVID vaccination appointment, and will get the vaccine and hope to sail sometime this year.
