Moving Hawaii cruise to 2022

I have been following all the Alaska cruisers moving their cruise to 2022 and the Canada/NE cruisers moving their cruises to 2022. I have a Sept 2021 cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii (10 days). Has anyone on this cruise tried to move it to Sept 2022? The 2022 cruise is 11 days. I am interested in moving my cruise to 2022. I am having a great deal of difficulty with my TA who  does not answer email or phone so I thought I would ask for your help here.

Since you have a travel agent, only he or she can do this for you. There have been reports of people who had 10 day cruise is trying to change to 11 day cruises and needing to get special permission from supervisors or the resolution department because that does not fit the parameters Celebrity has set out. As a side note:  Unless there has been a recent change regarding travel agents, I would consider removing this agent from your booking if you are able to do the leg work yourself.

I went through this a couple of years ago.  Spoke to a Res Specialist about an issue I was having with a travel agent.  I told them unless we could get it sorted out, I would need to pull the reservation from that agent.  The Specialist got the TA on the phone, (via  conference call),  and got the issue worked out.  Bottom line: Res Specialist was willing to let me remove the TA if we could not get the issue resolved.  And needless to say, never used that TA again.

You might want to ask your question on the Roll Call for your specific sailing where if others have been successful you will reach them.  From what I have seen  posted there has been no action regarding Hawaii or the fall Transpacific  cruises as yet ,  but I might have missed something.

Your cruise is on hold.  Celebrity said you could L&S +/- 1 week for the same cruise.

Every TA is buried and now closed with the weekend and holiday on Monday in some places.

You have until April to make a change.  If your TA does not contact you by next Wednesday or Thursday then suggest maybe asking to remove the booking from your TA.  Remember this Alaska mess has cancelled hundreds of sailings and we'll over a million passengers.  Gonna take some time.

I have moved my 10day to Hawaii plus 18days on the back to back completing the Pacific crossing to Sydney Au in Sept/Oct 2021 to 2022 already.  No problem with the 10/11 days.  It may be because I no longer use a Travel Agent, I book direct with the same booking concierge at Celebrity UK every time now.

I Did a lift and shift from Hawaii  sept 2021to sept 2022 this past week. As there is one extra day on the 2022 itinerary, they prorated the extra day and added it to the previous trip cost. All other perks and price protections were honored. This was the second lift and shift for that itinerary. 2020, 2021 now hopefully 2022!  Good luck to you.
