madmedic Posted February 26, 2021 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2021 I've been searching but cannot find a photo of the balcony for 8224 on the starboard side. Is it tunnel like or quite open? Any thoughts please , sticky looks quite positive.
Jeremiah1212 Posted February 26, 2021 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2021 It may be a slight bit 'tunnel' like, but it's not as deep as others. It would be the same depth as cabin to the left of 7290 in this photo.

ECCruise Posted February 26, 2021 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2021 We've booked this size cabin balcony many times. The largest balconies are the 1st and 3rd on the hump. They are deep, and I can easily see why some may consider them "tunnel-like." Never was an issue with us, but sitting by the cabin sliding glass doors, you are a good way from any sun. madmedic Posted February 27, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted February 27, 2021 Does anyone know if the bed is by the balcony doors? Was there any issue with noise due to stairs or stewards cupboard? Last time in a similarly positioned cabin we experienced some early morning noise due to stewards accessing the store cupboard near our door. Alakegirl Posted February 28, 2021 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2021 Have you checked the SClass cabin information Sticky?
