Enrichment

I have been away for some tiem. I notice that O no longer features enrichment lecturers in their brochures. Has something changed?

It’s been several years since O stopped listing the officers et al. in the “blue books,” which are printed months before embarkation. Too often, there were crew changes that made listing them a somewhat worthless exercise.

They have enrichment lecturers on every cruise but my favorite is when the chefs cook they are like a comedy team and the food id good also..

The biologist on the Regatta TP in 2019 was outstanding.

One of my favorites was given by the captain of the Regatta several years ago. He retold his experience with pirates while cruising near Somalia. The pirates attempted to board the ship, and both the crew and the passengers took actions to thwart the threat.

as a retired navy sailor, have had experiences with these pirates. and as it should be, always ended very badly for them.  we should never tolerate people that wish to cause harm to innocent people.
