I am looking at the inside cabins near the Passport Bar, but notice that the casino is right above them. Will I hear it??? I can't  seem to find info on the S class ship cabin section.  Thanks in advance.

We usually book the OV cabins 3154 or 3162 next to the Passport Bar, just opposite the Insides, on Solstice class ships (haven't sailed the Reflection but the deck plan is the same)

We have never been disturbed by any noise from the casino or the Passport Bar and, because we spend so little time in our cabin, don't miss having a balcony.

We find the location very handy for popping out to get a quick gin and tonic while changing for dinner, easy to nip up to 5 for a morning coffee and pastry, and a short stroll to the main dining room for dinner.

The ongoing joke we have with cruising friends is that we have the bedroom, living room, and dinning room all on one floor ☺️.

On one cruise we had a visit from the upgrade fairy and were moved to a Concierge on deck 7. Even the free bottle of bubbles didn't make up for me feeling like I was stuck in the middle of nowhere the whole cruise (I only popped my head out to look at the balcony, it went unused otherwise).

Cheers, h

That is just what I needed to hear. I have always had that  cabin off the hump with the big balcony and loved it, but always noticed people coming out of the hallway while at the Passport Bar. Seemed like such a cool place to be located near. I am scheduled  on the April TA in my big balcony cabin, but think I will change  to the 10 day southern  Caribbean for January and get that inside cabin. I will be going solo, and the price difference  will let me do another cruise in the fall.😊 Thanks.

wrk2cruise, I will come up in my pj's to help you celebrate🤑🤑

oh Grandma7, that is exactly how I latched on to those cabins.

On our very first cruise when we were in a hump cabin (I knew no better and wanted to be close to my experienced cruising sister) I really liked going down to the Passport bar pre dinner and saw people coming out of that hallway.

Next cruise I persuaded the other half to try deck 3 and we haven't looked back since.

Cheers, h

i'm agreeing with the posters who say this is a a quiet cabin and easy to everywhere cabin.   We have said the same area on the Equinox, Reflection, and Silhouette.  Love it.  We have even 3162 booked on a Baltic cruise next year.  We have tried balcony cabins in various places on the ships and always check for these cabins first.   Enjoy your cruise.

We have been on 3 cruises (25 days) on the Equinox and Reflection and have always been on the port side very near the lobby area in an ocean view cabin on deck 3.  Loved the cabins and never had a problem with noise.  Currently have a B2B booked in Mar/Apr '22 in the same area.  Always used to do balconies but since finding cabins similarly situated on an RCCL ship we look mainly for the OV cabins like the ones being discussed.  The location and ease of access to "things" is great.  I am pretty sure the inside cabins would also be a great choice.

It's really interesting to hear different people's thoughts on different cabin locations on the ships.  I've been in a few locations, all aft 1/3 of the ship with balconies and liked each one for different reasons.  My favorite location is always the cabin I had on my last cruise!

I'm  glad the majority think these cabins are good, because I just spoke with my agent and had her cancel my April TA with a big balcony, off the off cabin, to the inside cabin on deck 3  on the Jan 19 Southern Caribbean  cruise. Traveling  solo this just saves me ALOT of money, and those cabins really intrigued  me. Thanks for helping me out!!!

I have also noticed people coming out of the hallway there, and thought that would be a convenient location.  So we are booked in Sept 2022 for a Med cruise in 3170 oceanview, right near the Passport Bar.  Can anyone tell me if there is a door closing off the corridor from the bar, as I can't remember this detail.  Thanks!

There is but can't remember it ever being closed except late in the evening if there is a function in the common area.  Thus - no noise problem in your cabin.  Even with the door open we never had a noise issue.
