roger001 Posted May 20, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2021 Is there any difference on eh Bliss between the Club Balcony Suite and the Family Club Balcony (previously know as Mini Suites)?
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 21, 2021 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2021 Club Balcony (both types) = Mini-Suites You do get a few more perks with the re-classification.

Rare KeithJenner Posted May 21, 2021 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2021 The main difference between family mini suites and normal ones was mainly the location (nearer the kids club). I also believe that, on some ships at least, the family ones sleep 4, I assume because they have the drop down bed. My advice when booking these rooms is to ignore the family designation and just book a cabin in the location you want that sleeps the number of people you have. We are almost always travelling as a family and I never worry about which it is. To be honest I have never actually noticed any difference and generally couldn’t tell you whether it was a family room or not without checking my paperwork to see the cabin discription.

I never understood the point of those mini-suites. I mean if I want a suite it better be a big one with plenty of space to do stuff

As others pointed out, a different location on the ship would be another difference. Aside from that, if you're going to call any cabin a "Suite", it should live up to its name and be bigger with more amenities than a regular balcony cabin.
