Yup. It's actually on the website . It's still a drag to have to change plans at the last minute but it beats having only the FCC option.
artvlay Posted June 27, 2021 #177 Share Posted June 27, 2021 There is no way that I will go on a cruise if I have to wear a mask. If people choose not to be vaccinated that's fine, but I am not going to be inconvenienced because of that. 10

Actually it's not that simple. Maybe for rcl? My next couple are vaccinated and masks not required on the ship. We will see about liberty OTS out of Galveston in dec if they are required. It's not as straight forward as seat belts. The 95% is from cdc and could change or cruiselines could change to vaccinated and leave more kids behind. Rcl changes rules so often it's hard to keep up. .. and I dont even have kids. I doubt anyone can predict past the next few months.

I doubt anyone can predict past the next few months. The issue with the kids is huge and looming, and RCL is trying to figure out a win win situation for both the cruise line which also mean the customers. The biggest issue is with Oasis class ships where so many kids will be aboard starting with Thankgiving and so many will not be vaccinated. Of course if no kids, then no parents and grandparents. And thats the peak season revenue (rates too) and occupancy time frame. I do not know any easy win win way around this. I just would like to have a good idea/feel, "ground rules" for those cruises by the time final payment is due mid August, just around the corner, and that trickles down to the shore excursions, flights, car rentals, hotels etc. and planning in general. Once the unvaxxed get hit more and more in the pocket book with testing costs...things can only improve even further for everyone else. 6

Dont know when you are booked, and hope your ports dont require masks. I'd check first if you are that much against masks. Personally I can stay on the ship if I dont want to wear a mask in cozumel. I just want to cruise.

You are entitled to have your own views and personal decision. I will not wear a mask on a flight because I just cannot handle it, I feel constrained and my time limit for a mask is between 15 and 30 minutes. So, I do not fly. 1
Rare Tippyton Posted June 28, 2021 #194 Share Posted June 28, 2021 Cabo just got some of my vacation dollars for this year. Staying at an AI - not the same but what the heck, still sitting this dance out until they play the music I want to hear. I'm at least glad there is more and more conversation about the recovered. I read somewhere that some place in Europe is recognizing recovery just like the vaccinated. Maybe policy will catch up with the science some day. - The Forgotten 20

Pfizer is claiming September for their vaccine with 5-11 year-olds, so there is a chance a lot more kids will be vaccinated by Thanksgiving. Doesn't help us on our October cruise, though :(. I'll get on board when they are no longer required. Everyone else can enjoy in the meantime!!!!
