The more extensive Room Service breakfast card (same as those in Neptune Suites) is another perk for Club Orange. The small Club Orange dining room is far less hectic than the MDR and the dedicated breakfast chef contribute to the Club Orange experience for those on Pinnacle-class ships. Heartgrove Posted August 25, 2021 #27 Share Posted August 25, 2021 I am considering adding CO for a 12 day cruise on the Oosterdam next Fall 2022. What area of the MDR is used for CO?
KirkNC Posted August 25, 2021 #28 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Not a fan of CO as I feel it is a slap in the face for those who have spent hundreds of thousands of $$$$ to get 4-5 star perks. Now for mere $15/day others can get ahead in line, priority this, priority that. Having said that, I would caution those who want to get CO on a non-Pinnacle ship. Without the separate dining room, the special dining experience is more of an illusion. Even with a separate area of the MDR your still in the MDR. As to the additional entrees, we were once seated next to a couple with CO and the one additional entree per night was underwhelming. As to room upgrades, I am sure it works sometimes but we are very deliberate in selecting our room location and what HAL considers an upgrade, we often do not. The good news for us 4/5 star Mariners is that those who sign up for CO are giving HAL $$$ that costs HAL virtually nothing so maybe it will help pay down some of CCL’s debt

Now for mere $15/day others can get ahead in line, priority this, priority that. ... I can understand that. After reaching Diamond with Carnival, they decided to roll out a "faster to the fun" option which, for a nominal fee, gave anyone the following (which we had earned): Priority Security, Check-in and Boarding A dedicated security and check-in lane has been set aside for all Priority guests on embarkation day. FTTF guests will board after VIFP Diamond, Platinum and guests traveling in deluxe suite accommodations. Note: Only VIFP Diamond and Platinum guests and guests traveling in deluxe suite accommodations have access to the Captain’s Lounge. First Access to StateroomYour stateroom will be ready for you as soon as you board, so you can relax or freshen up for all the fun you are about to have. Priority Luggage While we process thousands of bags, FTTF luggage will receive priority delivery. Note: This is also a benefit for VIFP Diamond and Platinum guests.Guest Services Quickly have any of your questions answered or requests addressed as you will have a dedicated phone extension and line at Guest Services. Note: This is also a benefit for VIFP Diamond and Platinum guests.Dining Reservations Priority dinner time assignment in the Main Dining Room and Specialty Restaurant reservations: FTTF guests will be cleared after VIFP Platinum guests. This benefit does not include specific time reservations for 'Your Time Dining'. Note: VIFP Diamond guests and guests traveling in deluxe suite accommodations are guaranteed their dining in the Main Dining Room.Water Shuttle Priority

There is a special spot at the front of the MDR for Club Orange for Anytime Dining to assist you with seating, etc. That’s how it was B.C. (Before Covid). Things could change in the future who knows?

On the NA there was a separate check in desk for CO in the MDR as well as at guest services (and maybe EXC too, I can't recall). We had fixed seating and we never once saw the special menu but did ask a few nights. Totally underwhelmed by the special items and we stopped asking about 3 days in.
