Port Everglades Baggage Handling

It might be a little early for this, but how is the baggage handling at Port Everglades since we've started back cruising?  Are there porters or is it self service?

These are union jobs so no reason to worry as I can't see self service there.

Exactly one ship has sailed from FLL, with, I think it was, 30% capacity.  A little soon for a lot of reports.

Which is why I started with "It might be a little early for this..."  We sail on August 27 so I thought I'd just throw it out there to see what comes up from the 9 sailings before ours.

Actually, the union is what made me wonder about this.  I'm not sure of the year (2017 I think) but on one of our sailings there was a selective work slowdown in preparation for a general port strike.  On our embarkation day the porters were nowhere to be found and management had us take our bags to a collection area within the terminal.  We didn't mind since it was only 50 or 60 yards and saved a tip.  😀
