Such a hassle if one doesn't have a smartphone.  Thanks for the link

Note that there are 3 buttons on the page, the last is to sign on the ArriveCan online which is the web-based version. You do need access to a computer, and probably a printer (or a camera), but you don't have to have a smartphone.
