Nieuw Statendam 8136?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if Cabin 8136 on Nieuw Statendam is under the carpeted section of the Lido?  The room looks long and narrow, but the balcony really appeals to us.   Just don't want to have a sleep deprived vacation!  🙂

Thanks!

Actually, although it’s under carpet area, you can occasionally hear the carts being moved.  The bigger noise concern is that’s it’s located directly across from crew service door, which opens and closes all day long!

We had this room last may. There is absolutely no noise from the lido above so no worries. Balcony is fantastic. Because of the angle you not only see the the side of the ocean but also where you are going. Not all of the balcony is covered so in rainy conditions parts get wet. Also because of the forward facing, there is more wind.

Inside it is a regular sized balcony with an additional triangular  space at the end, so the room is larger than a regular.

Enjoy.
