ok, so where do i book a hotel?

we're booked on the getaway nov 24-dec 5th leaving from athens. i just read the getaway new home port will be katakalon (hope thats spelled  correctly) 

 

we're booked into a hotel in athens, and i plan to fly into their airport. 

 

anyone have any clue if i need to change travel arrangements?

Did your itinerary change?  The way I read the announcement was that Katakalon was a port of call on the cruises originating in Rome/Barcelona but people could board at Katakalon instead.

no,it just stated that after nov the home port for the getaway would be katakalon. im hoping that the itinerary doesnt change and we still sail from athens. just wondering if anyone had any news

Interesting that NCL.com does not show anywhere other than Athens as start/end port till it leaves from Rome TA early in December

The announcement was made by Mr. Sommers while he was on The Jade last week.  Computer guru's may not have got up with the announcement yet.  Itinerary changes seem to happen on a weekly basis right now.

At the bottom of Norwegian's website on the right hand side, look for "Newsroom", click on it for his comments.

Looking at the place mentioned in post 8 there is NO mention of Katakalon anywhere in it.
