GottaLuvCruising Posted August 4, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2021 WHAT Princess? Spring break always offers an Eastern and a Western Caribbean itinerary. It looks like they flat out canceled the Eastern itinerary and reduced our Western to just six days (dropping Cozumel...arrggghhh!) Sure! Put the CB into dry dock during spring break rather than over the last year and a half when it couldn't sail anyway??? At least we do have a booking, albeit disappointing itinerary and no other option unless we fly to west coast.
Steelers36 Posted August 4, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2021 I hear you on the timing, but there are three other ships sailing out of FL at that time into the Caribbean.
skynight Posted August 4, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2021 Caribbean Princess has a 55 day gap in her schedule from March 19, 2022 until May 14, 2022. Although the gap may include a dry or wet dock it looks more like rescheduling. The Caribbean Princess was last in dry dock during April 2019. No other options for us. I'd love to fly to LAX and do Mexican Riviera, but kids have school Monday, so it just doesn't work.
Jadn13 Posted August 4, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2021 Another Itinerary does exist, it's just running 10 day cruises instead of 7 day on the Enchanted

Figure a dozen days each way from Florida to Portland, and maybe two weeks in dry dock. There are still open days. Will it be a major refit like adding cabins and such? Maybe a few Pacific coast cruises will be added? Maybe the Caribbean will remain on the west coast for the Alaska season and another ship will replace it in the Caribbean?
