Rare BecciBoo Posted August 4, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2021 OK I know this is gonna sound stupid and trivial, but.....thinking about booking Tooth Whitening at the spa. Has anyone had this done? And did you feel it worked, see any difference? Was a UV light used? Thought I'd make a deal with the technician. Take a pic before and after and if I don't see a definite difference, money back???!!!! Any serious reports will be appreciated!
Rare BecciBoo Posted August 5, 2021 Author #2 Share Posted August 5, 2021 Come on, NOBODY has ever gotten their teeth whitened in the spa...really?
utopiahereicome Posted August 5, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2021 I think that I read one potential but temporary side effect is increased tooth sensitivity and gum irritation - would hate to have anything interfere with my ability to enjoy food and drink on a cruise!
Steeler Nation At Sea Posted August 5, 2021 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2021 This would be something I would do at a cosmetic dentist on land.

Spas are good for hair ups, facials, and massages. Don't do botox, teeth whitening, inotharapy, etc..

This is not dental work dufus, it's cosmetic 🤪 You have to have a license to practice dentistry.
Rare brillohead Posted August 5, 2021 #11 Share Posted August 5, 2021 I have two friends who had it done on Royal, and they thought they got scammed.... plus they had to buy all the "after-care to maintain the whitening" products, and the spa added an 18% gratuity on top of the cost of the after-care products in addition to the whitening service. Just get it done at home.
wellsme1 Posted August 5, 2021 #12 Share Posted August 5, 2021 Soaked mine in a glass of sparkling Pellegrino overnight. Much better results.😁
luckyfincruiser Posted August 31, 2021 #13 Share Posted August 31, 2021 I took spa tour and they did show use of an LED light. Didn't do it...that's what I know!
