Many years ago, before 9/11, I visited Veendam while she was docked in NYC and was a guest of Ruth C. I had to before screened before even arriving at the dock to get permission. Veendam had just gotten her new aft pool. After our visit, we went up to the top floor of the garage and watched as those dogs were being trained to smell out drugs. Fascinating to watch. Love your digs. Hope you are enjoying. 2

aliaschief Posted August 9, 2021 #211 Share Posted August 9, 2021 We ate lunch at Tracy’s Crab and stuffed ourselves on their Crab legs and rode the tram up atop Mt. Roberts. Today when talking to our great concierge Hector he told us he is the first one to be assigned permanent Neptune Lounge concierge. There will be no more rotation between Front Desk and Neptune. Hector is from Columbia and is a keeper.

kangforpres Posted August 10, 2021 #214 Share Posted August 10, 2021 Is the ship 50% capacity? I'm sure one of your crew friends will give you the skinny. Thanks
woodworker&knitter Posted August 10, 2021 #215 Share Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) Love Tracy’s, my husband doesn’t care fior any type of seafood. So every time we cruise to Alaska, this is my indulgence Edited August 10, 2021 by woodworker&knitter

Just thinking how lovely a half full ship on a 21 day cruise would be.

aliaschief Posted August 10, 2021 #221 Share Posted August 10, 2021 Not wanting to steal John’s post. I can’t remember ever seeing the casino as busy as the last two nights. It appeared every slot was being worked. We’re not gamblers so this is just an observation. BB King has been SRO! 6
