Good luck with calling Royal -- I have been on hold for about 45 minutes now -- if you even get someone that answers you might get the wrong information. Total waste of time.

Ah - the pros and cons of using a TA.  I've booked both ways  and right now I'm so glad that the only cruise I have booked is with a TA.  I called on Monday to change the date of my November sailing and probably spent less than 5 minutes letting them know what I wanted.

After a couple of e-mails and another very short phone conversation - I was all set.

Right now, I'm really happy I don't have to deal directly with Royal.

It's hit or miss these days, in most instances, whether using a TA or dealing with RCI directly.  It's the luck of the draw as they say.  Glad you have a good TA and got a quick resolution.  Enjoy your cruise!

You can get a refund for an August cruise regardless of where you work. You could apply your FCC to an August cruise and then turn around and cancel for a full refund (by claiming you don’t like the protocols).

You can book the Aug. 29th cruise for Allure, protocols have not been yet announced and then cancel for a refund.
