Hopefully we head across the pond on Friday night. I have two questions - info on the Lido in the evening- ethnic choices? Port info - I have not made many plans - is HAL providing much port info - on paper? or is almost everything on the Navigator? Almost no paper is given out.

Is that MDR theme or throughout the ship? I don’t recall this on our Med cruises. Dining room and Lido had a special menu.

Dunmore2 Posted September 9, 2021 #29 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Thanks for all you news and updates. Many of the sides in the MDR don’t appeal to my husband. Any idea if one can order a side of mashed potatoes or a baked potato?
Chart Room Princess Posted September 9, 2021 #30 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Do you know if you can work out in the exercise room without a mask or do you have to wear one?
CAT73 Posted September 9, 2021 #31 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Thanks so much for taking the time to report and answer questions. With the current conditions, it's so nice to have inside info. Husband and I are hoping to join you onboard 9/24 in Athens. This will be our first cruise in Europe. Do you know if local currency can be purchased/exchanged at Guest Services (onboard)? Thank you.

Smooth Sailing!

CruiseMGM Posted September 11, 2021 #39 Share Posted September 11, 2021 We were on the NA in Alaska a few weeks ago and saw some people in the pools. As far as I know, masks are PROHIBITED in the pool, not allowed by any means. But back on once you're out of the pool (and presumably dried off!). 😀 Best wishes!

This is the first report I have seen on HAL cruises. Jim
