Check In Time For Port Arrival

Going on The Gem 9/26/21 and just now doing the online check in.  It says you will only be allowed to check in at your designed check in time.  What happens if I choose 11am but don't get there till 12:30?  Has this happened to anyone in the past?

I've asked the same question and never received an answer.

Arrival at the port is never going to be exact.  Too many types of travel and possible delays getting there.  I'm guessing it is a, not before, but any time after, kinda thing.

No problem. It took us 90 min to finish our COVID test, so we were way late for our checkin.

Considering everyone ignores their check-in time usually and is there clawing at the doors at 11 without consequence they'll be happy you showed up late.
