Trying To Embrace Royal Excursions

That’s why we booked Anthem from NJ… don’t really care for the itinerary, and we only need to book one excursion. Port Canaveral, we probably won’t get off. Coco Cay don’t need an excursion, Nassau is the only stop we need a tour, so we just booked a beach excursion. It’s my least favorite itinerary, but we don’t need to fly, and seeing as we’ve never been on RCI, might as well try it out with a newer ship.

I thought about Xcaret, but I admit, I'm leery of taking the ferry.  I know this cuts out a lot of options, so maybe I need to get over it.  The last time we were there, a few years ago, there were safety issues with some of the ferries.  It has been a while though.  I'm not seeing a RC choice for Xel-ha.

I've done it 2x on a cruise and 2x when on a land vacation.  They are really good with the cruise ones.  I hate ferries because of sea sickness but this one really isnt as bad as others in other places (st. Barts...).
