mcshane Posted October 4, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2021 Hi there, I was hoping that perhaps someone on board at present, or recently, might be able to post a current copy or two of Passages? We are dying to see the types of activities on board at the moment! Also, do Regent provide paper copies of a daily crossword or Sudoku in the library? Thanks!
Wendy The Wanderer Posted October 4, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2021 A daily trivil puzzle and a sudoku, yes. Can't recall about the crossword.
cwbegg Posted October 13, 2021 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2021 Hopefully I post these pics correctly. I'm on the Splendor now, having embarked in Southampton on Sept. 22 and disembarking in Miami on Dec. 7. There is daily Mensa (with answers revealed at 4:25 pm in the Observation Lounge each day). The paper with the Mensa questions is available in the Library early each day. Trivia has been held daily. I think there is a daily crossword, also paper. I'll try to check in the next few days. Haven't seen Sudoku. The Passages are from an At Sea Day and today (Oct. 13) a tender port. 2
Ladys Mom Posted October 13, 2021 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2021 Are they conducting any fitness classes in the morning or afternoon?
cwbegg Posted October 14, 2021 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Attached is a photo of a class schedule. I haven't participated in any, just using the machines which are top-of-the-line. 1
poolechick Posted October 14, 2021 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2021 It's interesting that under the Health Advisory in Passages they only mention thorough hand washing. There is no mention of wearing masks.

captjohn Posted October 15, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 15, 2021 Just a quick question for those who have been cruising. Have there been any enrichment lectures ? There are none listed for any cruise on the Regent site. Thanks, John

Only thing you would pay extra for is if you work privately with a trainer. You do need to sign up for classes ahead of time, because sometimes the class size is limited. Spin class is like that for sure.

He is interesting and has great slides and video clips that accompany his programs. He lives in Venice. I'm not sure he is continuing after Trieste. Wendy is correct about sudoku. It is on the same sheet as the crossword picked up in the Library. Sorry for misleading everyone earlier about there being no sudoku.
