Nasty Poster used my REAL First name in a reply

Recommended Posts

There is a CC Member with the screen name of  TNGALOHA who replied to a message I posted regarding the MSC Davina.  Although I don't know how she knows me, she used my real first name on one of her "nastygrams" she posted on the CC Forum for the MSC Davina on September 26th, I think.  I am very offended that she used my real name and if this is a common practice, I am going to have to use a fake name. She probably got it from the Roll Call but I didn't think we were supposed to use our names for any other purpose.

Thanks for any help.

Read How To: Report a Post.

A User Reported Content list of reports will be generated for review to all volunteer Hosts/Moderators and paid Administrators. The reports will automatically show the important information they MUST have such as the forum name, thread title or post in addition to your message.

The volunteer Hosts/Moderators or paid Administrators will review your Report post report when they can. I say "when they can" because all e-mails and Report post reports to Cruise Critic are answered in order of receipt. With almost two million members and some sending e-mails or reports 24/7 from all over the world, please be patient for any action. Also, please remember the Hosts/Moderators are non-paid volunteers that work the boards when their real life permits. Administrators work regular weekday business hours and have many, many other job duties too.

Sounds great!  Can you tell me how?

@weebleone

You can also hover your cursor over their user name or avatar (Profile Photo) on one of their posts. A small screen will appear. On the bottom of the screen click Ignore in the small light blue button.

You will not see the ignored member's posts in the future. However, if anyone quotes any of their posts you will see the quote.

If you use the Follow feature for any threads or forums, when the ignored member posts on the followed thread or forum you will not get a notification of their post. Your Notifications will screen out your ignored members.

And for all reading this thread using landscape portable devicessee post #3 by broberts on another thread.

Hope this additional information will be helpful!  emo34.gif
