We paid 69.00 dollars each a couple weeks ago and thought it was well worth the money.  Now that it is more than double than that we will pass the next time around unless it drops significantly.  The area is gorgeous, the pool is awesome, food and service spectacular.  My threshold for pain would be 99.00 per person.  So many areas that are free that offer great choices.  We will do the chicken, hamburgers, funnel cakes...for free next time but glad we got to see it.

Do you have to pay anything just to get off the ship at CoCo Cay?

Nope, it's completely complimentary with your cruise! The internet and drinks packages are also valid on the island and there is complimentary food provided. It's great.

Well, the free stuff is complimentary.  😄

Water park, Coco beach club, cabanas, beds, etc. are not complimentary.

.hi radio, been enjoying your reports, I posted yesterday asking a couple of questions, maybe I didn’t do it right. Anyway, I’ll try again. The pool pictures looked a bit more crowded than in the past weeks, has there been a noticeable increase that you can tell from your first leg?  I was hoping to experience the lower capacity but in reality I’m just glad to be cruising again, fingers crossed for our Covid test Friday, we board Sunday.. looking forward to more pictures and reports. Take care.

The pools range with passenger count. On the Oct 3rd sailing there was 2500 pax, and the pools didn't seem busy. On the Oct 10th sailing, there is 2700 pax. So, more passengers, busier pool. Even today it didn't seem over crowded.

Hello everyone and good day. I just got back on the ship at 4pm. I had a great day in CocoCay.
I was lucky enough to have a nice Beach Cabana.

We had a Coco Beach Cabana, and it was wonderful.
The Cabana had a maximum capacity of eight but we only had 3 passengers. The Cabana attendant was there every 15 min throughout the day. He brought breakfast treats, appetizers, and lunch. He also took drink orders throughout the day.

It was located on the beach, just a few steps away from the beach, the pool, restaurant and restrooms. The Infinity pool was very nice, and very clean.

Overall, it was a beautiful day with no rain, and sunny skies. There was a light breeze throughout the afternoon.
Here are a few pics from today. . . More Pics tomorrow

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 5 of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas.
Welcome to Nassau. . . We arrived in Nassau this morning at 7am as scheduled. Carnival Dream, and Carnival Glory are with us here today.
I had dinner in the MDR Deck 3 last night. There was Lasagna on the menu and I was looking forward to that. I was not disappointed. It was wonderful, but the winner of the best dessert I have had on Oasis of the Seas was served last night. English Trifle was fantastic and I will try to find a recipe for this delightful dessert.

I went down to Music Hall last night to see Phoenix LIVE They are a wonderful A-List cover band from Las Vegas. They are a rock Cover band and play in cities all over the US and Canada. There are many bands on Oasis of the Seas, but only the very best bands are able to play in Music Hall.

I'm not sure what time I'll be going ashore, but I always want to leave the ship and every port. Even if I just want to get some external ship photos. We will see what happens this afternoon.

The forecast for today is sunny skies with possible showers this afternoon at 85°f.
Here are some pics from last night and this morning.

I know that the main theater shows change; but are the Aqua shows and the Ice  shows always the same or do they change?

Those shows do not change often. In its latest drydock in 2019, Oasis introduced a new Aqua show. IMHO, it is the best of all Oasis class ships. The ice show has been around for a while, but we are still mesmerized by the sand art guy!!

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 6 of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas. Today is the first of 2 relaxing days at sea. The weather today is wonderful. Sunny skies (with a few clouds) but warm temps and smooth seas.

I had a great dinner last night in Izumi. We had Izumi Hibachi and it was very entertaining. The food was very good too. You could spend an additional $5 and have premium Hibachi, with Scallops. Lobster, or filet mignon.

I really tried to stay up last night to go to Music Hall,. but it didn't work out. I was down for the count by 9:30 p.m. I would really like to stay on for another week, but I will have to leave the ship and go home on Sunday.

I had Breakfast again today in the main dining room on Deck 3. Deck 3 is for fully vaccinated passengers only. For parents who have children, they can have breakfast on Deck 5. All passengers are welcome on Deck 5 MDR for all meals.

The big shopping extravaganza took place today on the Royal Promenade at 10:30am 2 T-shirts for $20, Invicta watch specials and many deals are taking place now on the Royal Promenade until noon.

Here are a few pics from today. . .

Hello everyone and good evening. . . I had a great day at sea today, filled with fun, entertainment, and relaxation. Well, I was able to watch news for about an hour.

It appeared that all passengers on the ship were either outside on the decks, using the Solarium, or shopping today. Today was the first day that it seemed that we were sailing at full capacity.(even though we are at less than 50%) Passengers were everywhere. I went to El Loco Fresh for lunch today, and even they were busy. The burritos however, were very good.

Tonight was formal night in the main dining room. I did choose the lobster, however, the waiter thought it was important to bring me two lobster tails and I thanked him. I could not decide on Baked Alaska or the Apple Blossom a la mode. . . Yes, the server brought both.

Here are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in.

Radio,

Following the past two cruises you have commented on has not only made me want to read more, but I would love to be on a sailing with you someday!  Your attention to detail is fabulous!  My DW and I haven’t cruised since November 2019, prior to the world changing. I retired from law enforcement for the second time last November and we were supposed to cruise away our retirement together. Your thread has made me realize how much I miss the ocean, and I will look at things onboard differently (like watching the “news”). 🤣🤣. Be well and safe voyages!  Thank you for sharing your talent!
