Covid testing at terminal

Depends if your parking company is off site and take you to the terminal or you have to drive to the terminal i.e P4C. If it is the latter drive to terminal and unload suitcases and then take car to short stay car park to meet parking rep and then walk to terminal where you will be directed to a tent at side of terminal where you will have covid test and then you will proceed into terminal and wait for coved test result. If you are parking off site and being taken to terminal by mini bus they will drop you off and you will proceed with suitcases and test as above.

Personally, I would go for covid test first, which when we cruised 2 weeks ago was at Mayflower, then take you car to the cruise ship to offload cases, waiting first to make sure you're clear, then take the car to the car parking. If the ship is in Ocean terminal, it's a long walk from Mayflower otherwise.

You are only supposed to go their if you are parking with CPS and not other parking companies.

Why should you have to walk from Mayflower to Ocean. You only go Mayflower Covid testing site if parking with CPS and then drive to Ocean to hand your car over to CPS. Anyone using other parking companies, arriving by taxi or coach should go straight to Ocean and there is a facility to have the Covid test at the side of the terminal and then you proceed into the terminal. If using P4C or similar valet parking drop suitcases off and then drive into short stay car park to meet your car parking rep and then walk to Covid test area next to Ocean terminal. If using an off site car park they will drop you off you hand over luggage and then walk again to Covid test centre at side of Ocean.

When we sailed on 1st October, QE was at the Mayflower terminal as was the covid test, I was unaware of other testing facilities.

There is a facility at Ocean for foot passengers and for those arriving by coach or being dropped off by taxis, friends or off site car parking companies. When you go to Covid at Mayflower as a CPS user they give you a wrist band to wear to prove you have been tested and when you get to terminal they let you go in. Anyone that hasnt got a wrist band so therefore not had covid test are sent to the facility just outside Ocean terminal entrance to be tested before they are allowed to enter terminal.
