Labadee port replacement?

I had not heard that. Yet people don't see how anything could possibly happen at Labadee.

Just think about how much cash is kept at the cruise ship casino ready for the take. Why bother with kidnapping when these heavily armed gangs can rob the ship casino vault and then leisurely walk off the ship anchored at Labedee pier. Haitian police is not going to show since they are either outgunned or no longer around.

It is becoming apparent that cruise ships have less places to go in the Caribbean because of too much COVID and too much internal strife / crime. A Cancun beach was shot up last week by a couple guys that arrived on jet skis. I'm beginning to think that a trip in the USA (less certain cities) will be in our future.

Mass shootings in the US every week. For a long time, European countries warned their citizens not to come to the US because of violence (e.g., there have been 16 shooting incidents in Georgia this year that have been classified mass shootings (4+ injured or killed)).
