Freeplay and DOU anywhere on ship

I have Casino freeplay and Drink on us anywhere on ship - are these automatically on your card or do you have to get them activated?

Typically……..For Casino Freeplay, go to the cashier in the casino. Free drinks anywhere?  Have no idea.  I have free drinks in the casino and you’ll get a card with your first drink.

Our drinks anywhere were automatically on our card on out two cruises early Sept. for free play we went to casino cashier and was able to pick slot play (they then loaded onto card) or they would give you fun play chips for table games.

You can also email the casino to get written proof of your offer if you are worried about issues on the cruise ship.

The card is for show.  The DOU is coded to your folio

It seems like some ships may still be doing the attached cards while others are not.  Either way, it’s in the system and having the card makes no difference.

I just realized that the casino is closed when you board the ship so, if you needed to get Drinks Anywhere activated I don't even know if anyone is actually in the Casino cage.

It's already on your sail and sign card.  I used mine well before the ship even sailed earlier this summer on the Horizon.  No issues.

I should have known this already. Otherwise, I'm sure others would have posted in an uproar over this.

BTW: I wish Drinks Everywhere was on my card, I have to settle for Drinks While Donating Money In The Casino.

Thanks for this link, I came looking for something that could tell me which offer I had booked under. I've had to pass on many the last year I can't remember which one I actually took advantage of.

The DOU is in the system when you board. When I went on the Magic in Aug, I went to the Atrium bar and ordered a drink and told the bartender I had the DOU anywhere on the ship, and he told me it was in the system, so the Drinks were on for the cruise.

The email you receive if you contact the casino says you go to any bar to 'activate" it.

The drinks everywhere is great.  We get multiple offers for drinks in casino and recently have been getting anywhere. It used to only be on Elite offers but have been getting them even non-elite.

I"ve booked two cruises with that offer.

 

I am super excited as I don't drink a lot but it's nice to not have to worry about the added cost.

On my first Carnival cruise we bought the Bottomless Bubbles and it wasn't worth it as we didn't get to drink enough.

We also booked two cruises with that offer....Oct 3 to the 9th on the Dream and going again on Nov 13th to 20th on the Vista...Great deal!!

I have only gotten drinks in the casino, but if I were lucky to get drinks anywhere how would that impact the Cheers?  Typically my wife and I get Cheers, but if i had drinks anywhere could she get Cheers without me being required to get it as well?

I think someone posted that you go to guest services and explain you have the DOU and you only get charged for your wife?

maybe someone has dealt with this before?
