Yesterday, everyone on the Quest was given a COVID test and not one person tested positive.  We were told thus far no one has tested positive on the Quest and it is classified a “Green” under the CDC rules.  Let’s hope it stays hat way, specially when it returns to Miami.

Glad to hear it. Hope the new guests wear their masks properly and don’t move the do not sit here signs. The crew have worked SO hard since July. Well done to them. I hope they get allowed ashore for a short time soon.

People are moving "do not sit here signs"?

Yep that’s what I’ve been told from several different guests onboard

So, how often are they testing onboard?

Lol 😂 if I’m sleeping in the same bed as my husband I’d like to sit next to him in a show. Is that allowed onboard?

Are you "having a laugh"?

Of course you are allowed in your on board "bubble" in all areas.

What was being addressed was large scale moving of signs to create large groups. That is not currently allowed.

They test before you are allowed to embark the ship and then the day before you disembark.  If doing a back to back cruise they test you anyway the day before turnaround.

We are on the TA from Lisbon to Miami.

On the current sailing why are all guests being tested before disembarkation?  Is this a European requirement?

If we are all tested the day prior to disembarkation in Miami, and there are positive cases, any idea what happens at that point since this is first time Quest arriving in the US.

Sorry to report this but on October 25th one woman tested positive for COVID and was quarantined.  I have no idea if anyone else was quarantined.  She was completely asymptomatic and no one else had it.  They have no idea how she got sick.  Perhaps Azamara can update us on this.  I just checked the CDC web site and no Azamara ships are on their list yet.  Perhaps they wait until a ship arrives in USA waters?

She and her travelling companion left the ship in Civitavecchia (turnaround day) at about 11:30. They were escorted off the ship by two crew in protective PPE to a newly arrived ambulance. The gangway was thoroughly sprayed afterwards. The ship was given an extra deep clean and B2B passengers were asked to stay either on the pool deck, in their cabin or at the film they were showing until after midday.
