proof of covid insurance

We didn’t get MSC insurance so I can’t answer.  Just wanted to include here, as an aside, that, after fretting and hoping that our Covid insurance cover would be accepted, and printing out the relevant sections of our insurance policy, we were never even asked for proof of its existence in Barcelona last Friday.

I think this probably was required for earlier cruises where MSC did the tests pier side.  Now it is probably required for anyone traveling with unvaccinated kids.  But knowing how prompt MSC is in making website updates, who knows?  Add to that clueless shoreside staff and well…… We’ll be bringing a copy of our Alliance summary sheet just in case.

From what I have been reading, MSC is reinforcing the covid coverage check for the ones with other insurance and not that much for the ones with msc insurance. I remember reading this in some foruns, I don't know if it is accurate.
