Covid Shot Question

We are going on a Sept 2022 cruise and 2 people from our party do not have the shot and don't plan on getting it either. Is Celebrity requiring all passengers to have the shot or they can not come aboard ? If so is there anything they can do without getting the shot to still join us?

Currently all who are eligible to receive the shots must be vaccinated and provide a negative Covid test taken with 2 days of boarding. So as it stands your friends will not be  allowed onboard.

Not if Celebrity is still requiring vaccines in Sept 2022, plenty of time here.

There's a lot of time before final payment is due, but you probably should make your deposits refundable.

No one can tell you for certain what it will be like in September 2022, but the advice to get refundable deposit is spot on. It’s entirely possible your friends will not be allowed to sail on Celebrity at that time.

While I also cannot predict what the passenger requirements regarding vaccination status will be in September 2022 I do suspect that the requirement that passengers eligible for the covid-19  vaccine actually be vaccinated will not be lifted any time soon.   If they refuse to be vaccinated there likely will be two less in your group.
