Crazy low rates are back

I also have the crazy low rates again but starting at $25 pp.  You also have to take the cruise by the end of February 2022.  That means that I won't be able to take advantage of it this time.  I took the Magic Halloween cruise using one of those rates and would not have booked otherwise.

 

I have another cruise booked for June 2022.  If these rates pop up again and can be used for June, would I be able to do a price match and get OBC?

I believe that these sailings are on the Miracle and are replacing the 14 day Hawaii cruise that was canceled.

I doubt these rates would be back for summer sailings. That's prime vacation time for most folks.

These seem to be casino rates. Just saw daughter in law’s email from players club and it says casino rate p5e.  It had the $25 rates.  She hasn’t been on carnival in over 5 years.

nope i see miracle is included but when i searched cruises i have everything available from Mardi Gras for $55 pp for an interior spa, to $10 pp from Galveston on all 3 ships and up to $100 for NYE.  I do believe its completely random. I had the offer about 6 weeks ago. I don't have any casino offers, I only walk thru the casino. I did shop a lot on my last cruise, the one i used the $25 offer

Finally I too got some decent rates, even on balconys. All cabins. Lol but never saw a $5 rate. Book it DANO!

My offers can't be casino rates as I've never spent a penny in any of the casinos.

I booked two at a $25 rate. Valor out of NOLA in January and Sunshine out of Charleston in February. Can't say no to a $25 cruise.

The  cheers promo could only be used once, so if no one knows, I'd go with twice.

i'm not asking about Cheers promo.  the reply i quoted is about $25 promos. Isn't this post about crazy low rates not Cheers??

I had the cheers rate for $5 more per  day I booked twice. If you are a drinker to them they might think it's a great price. I waited and waited hoping to get this promo again. last time wifi rate was priced the same as cheers. I notice this time wifi included is cheaper. For 154 pp for a cruise including wifi someone might think it's a great price. 

 

Earlier in this thread someone else mentioned they hadnt seen this rate since last august. Me either. If its not your thing, just move on.

Idk if it was lucky or a trick but I put one special rate cruise on hold and then booked another and I think got a extra one that way as I could still book the one on hold at the same rate. Wasnt that good as some here, but rate lasted one extra that way. Doesnt hurt to try putting your 2nd choice on hold and seeing if it worked for you.

Darn it! I wish I would have known that when I booked earlier. I was hoping to book the Breeze out of Galveston and the Valor out of NOLA. Breeze out of Galveston will work though.

The best I could see is $175 pp balcony for seven days.  Not $25 pp, but worthy as a bargain.

Not exactly. Just having a body onboard isn't doing much good. There are still many food and labor costs that a $10 fare simply won't cover.

 

However, getting people on board who are known to spend money is a different story. It doesn't have to be just casino. People who buy lots of food, dining, excursions, any spending etc are worthwhile getting on your ship. People who won't buy another thing definitely aren't worth $10 offers.

The christmas 8 days is back with a lower rate. I'd book if I was sure I could go. I'm still living under a cloud of uncertainty. Prices start under $600 and there is one port hole left. .. one.

 

For a holiday cruise great prices. The 8 day really is the only one I'm watching that goes to half moon cay. I still think the math looks wrong from the price they show to adding the tax for one person. 8 day out of Galveston is the only one that has the different iternary that I'd really like.

Here is a example of what I mean when I say the math is wrong on final prices. The deals are great but the math is wrong.

 

Here you can see a great price for 1 pax for a balcony of 478.50  says plus 101.88 taxes and port fees. .. that equals 580. .. except it shows 678. .. too low for 2 port fees so it's not that either.

 

I click on 478, select .. and comes to 678. Huh?  Then you can see it says including port fees and taxes of 101.88.

 

I'm getting this on several where the math makes no sense. Great price for a xmas balcony.

So we are a family of 5, and none of these low rates translate into a room for 3.  And to the best of my knowledge they dont allow an 18yo (My eldest) to be in a room on their own.  One workaround we are thinking about is putting a potential traveler with her in that room, but that persons availability isnt yet known, so there is a high probability they will pull out, leaving the 18yo by herself.  Does anyone know if that might work?
