Just off Freedom to Nassau and CoCo, questions?

This was my first cruise back after the shutdown so I'll try to answer any questions you might have and add a story if I have one.

That is awesome, hope you had a great time.  What did you do in Nassau?  We are going there in Jan on Harmony and trying to decide.  Would really probably just like a beach and or resort, but not necessarily Atlantis as we have been there many times.

I just walked around Nassau.  The street hustlers were more aggressive than I remember, but returned to normal friendliness if I asked them a random question like for directions.  I saw three guys get a taxi to Junkanoo for $15.

I did not hear any announcements about reduced capacity, but the shows were not crowded at all.  Plus they accepted my RoyalUp bid of $50 to move from interior to balcony so I suspect it was not full.

I went in the ocean for three hours.  It was colder than normal with a heavy current, but I looked at the little tropical fish and had a great time practically undisturbed.

Nassau looked to have nearly all businesses in full swing including heavy construction building a new terminal.  We had 4 ships in port on a Tuesday.

       Did you check out Playmakers on NFL Sunday?   Did you notice if the casino was crowded?

The casino was not crowded.  Just too much smoke so I left my mask on and finally felt like I had a reason to wear it.  I do not know what the other thing is so can't help you there.

It looked like they were putting the pipes in the ground and hadn't even started the building's foundation yet.

I also just got off Freedom this morning! Totally awesome 3 night cruise. Playmakers was busy on Sunday for football, and they were pretty accommodating in changing channels for televisions so that everyone could see 'their' game. 

There were 1900 passengers aboard this weekend.

Despite needing to walk through there to get to shows and having the hottest server, the place barely looked to have enough customers to even stay open.

I did not use these, but did not notice any type of closed signs or mention of that in the Compass.

The feature show times seemed to change each day from 7-8pm.  I don't know if that was port versus sea day related, but I did have to pay attention.  Everything required booking through the app and unvaccinated parties were separated to the balcony or one side.  There was one ice skating open session for passengers.

The ice show was shown twice on the third night. Even though it said reservations required, you could just walk right on. We went to the 7 PM show - I think there was another at 8:15 or 8:30
