Maybe it depends on the ship or the destination and not necessarily the length of the cruise. I am on Regatta on March 7, 10-days, to the South Pacific and the FP is and always has been 90 days. There was no extension of final payment and the penalties for cancellation remain the same. Yes, it would be nice if they made some sort of announcement. Too late for me but others should know what is going on.
Jockocruiser Posted December 9, 2021 #52 Share Posted December 9, 2021 Agreed, no rhyme or reason!
CintiPam Posted December 10, 2021 #53 Share Posted December 10, 2021 Perhaps relates to the ports of call for each cruise?
Norseh2o Posted December 14, 2021 #54 Share Posted December 14, 2021 Last week our TA sent copy from O changing June 2022 Insignia 22 day cruise final payment to 60 days. No changes on April, September, October, & November, 2022 Oceania cruise final payments.
Rare ORV Posted December 14, 2021 #55 Share Posted December 14, 2021 As has been pointed out before, one of the factors seems to be likelihood of the cruise actually sailing.
