Can anyone confirm that Grand Turk actually re-opened this week and cruise ships have docked there? Thanks!

Yes, Grand Turk is open. However, it was said that Mardi Gras is unable to dock there due to size until they do some dredging.

I would love to know this as well - we are on the 3/26 cruise stopping in GT.

I believe they have been changing the itinerary.

Hal ships were in this week as well.  I can understand the need for additional dredging for the MG. 

 

Not really an anchorage type port , IMO,  given the National Marine Park all around the island.  Tendering would have be be by lifeboats.  and the excursion pier might not be suitable for those to dock at.
