"The Carnival Freedom arrived in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, on Dec. 15, marking the line’s first time back to the port since resuming service.

According to a press release, the 2,974-guest Freedom is on a six-day Eastern Caribbean cruise that departed Port Miami on Dec. 12, and featured ports include Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove."

Hal ships were in this week as well.  I can understand the need for additional dredging for the MG. 

 

Not really an anchorage type port , IMO,  given the National Marine Park all around the island.  Tendering would have be be by lifeboats.  and the excursion pier might not be suitable for those to dock at.
