I didn't mind the ones at the nightstands, although they were also fairly bright. This, at least, you could cover or block.
CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted December 30, 2021 #27 Share Posted December 30, 2021 Even your sheet/blanket moving, could kick off the darn Nightstand nightlight. Can't believe I wasn't smart enuf to put something in Front of the sensor, or use tape! doh
AVCruzers Posted December 30, 2021 #28 Share Posted December 30, 2021 We just took 3 beach towels from the pool area and used them to put in front of the night stands and desk lights. Didn't think about duct tape for the dressing room sensor.
RSS from SF Posted December 30, 2021 #29 Share Posted December 30, 2021 (edited) --- I also was on this sailing.Covering the sensors: For the night stand sensors: I just grabbed an extra room service order card and stuck it under the night stand. You could also just take any letter-sized sheet of paper (like a patter) and fold it lengthwise to fit. For the dressing room/closet sensor: I grabbed facial tissue (or some toilet paper), wet it with water just enough to be able to stick, and smashed/formed this around the sensor. Dries like a light papier-mâché/paper mache around the sensor area, and later when not needed this "cover" pulls off cleanly and without leaving any marks. GAFFER/GAFFERS/GAFFER'S/GAFF TAPE: For those of you who might have some (or would like to try it), I recommend GAFFER TAPE (any color) because it is PERFECT to cover the sensors. Gaffer tape is easily removed and doesn't leave stickiness nor marks like duct tape does. (For those of you who have not heard of it and/or have not used it, Google "uses for gaffers tape".) --- Edited December 30, 2021 by RSS from SF
